Five turtles, ten stones, one cabbage
You play alone. The computer takes the other seats.
One stone is one step. A turtle that lands on an occupied stone climbs onto the shell and rides on top.
The track is ten stones. On the first one everyone stands side by side: that is the start. A cabbage grows on the last one.
Each player holds five cards. On your turn, play one, move a turtle, and draw a new card.
At the start the turtles stand apart. Every other stone has room for one: a later arrival climbs onto the shell. That makes a tower. When the bottom turtle moves, it carries everyone on top.
The race ends when at least two turtles stand on the cabbage. One turtle does not end it: a minus card can pull that turtle back. Extra steps never go past the cabbage. The top turtle on the cabbage wins. The one beneath is second, and the next is third. Turtles that have not reached the cabbage rank by how far they got. On the same stone the bottom turtle is ahead, because it carries the tower. Turtles with no token do not count.
You can play a series: 1st place — 3 cabbage leaves, 2nd — 2, 3rd — 1.
